Linking MyCIC account to PR application

Hi everyone!

Received our AOR yesterday, tried 5 times yesterday but couldn't link the application and after reading this thread I tried a few more things and was able to link it, maybe it could be of help to someone:

Category: Permanent Residence

Sub-category: Family Class (Spouse)

Application details:
Application Number (received in the email)
Family Name (Family Name as given in the form> of the person being sponsored)

Place of birth:
City/town of birth (leave it blank)
Country/territory of birth (leave it as it is> default line)
Passport: Sponsored person's (P.A.) passport details

Other Application information:
Province: as stated in the original application IMM 0008
City/town/Village: as stated in the original application IMM 0008
Current marital status: Married
Number of family members: '2' which includes you and your sponsor

So, it is ok to link the application to the sponsor's account? (That's what I did, just checking...)

Yes, as far as I know.
And even more, as the applicant is a minor.

Hi everyone - any hints on how to link OWP to myCIC? I had to resubmit due to a missing fee and it was received at Vegreville on Nov 15, 2017 but I have not heard anything yet and have had ZERO luck in linking no matter what I try. Would love to know if anyone else in a similar situation is having the same problems, or if you found a way to make it work? Thanks

Hi Everyone.
I am sponsoring my husband and I found your forum very useful. Thanks a lot for all the hints.
We faced many difficulties even after following your instructions finally we could link it using;

1. Application number
2. PA's family name
3. PA's place of birth
4. PA's country
5. Leave passport information empty
6. Put the address as it appears on the application
6. Number of people - 2, the principal applicant and sponsor (this is assuming there are no children)

Now I have a question, does the sponsor have to fill a schedule A as well? It says the applicant and all his family members. I am his wife (and sponsor), do I fall under family member?

Just double checking - were you still in status when you resubmitted the OWP app? (Not implied status, but in status)?

Yes, we resubmitted and it was received at Vegreville Nov 15, my husband's status expired Dec 16
