Linking application to GC KEY!!!

Is it compulsory that we have to link our application online ?
Because I am having issues linking my application online.

Its not compulsory.....but will advice you do....as it will save you a lot of hassles, like delay is receiving mails from IRCC......linking your application to your online account will help you receive correspondence from IRCC online, on in-time and correspondence is a lot easier.
