Linking application to CIC

Hello,

Please help!
We have applied Family class (common-law) sponsorship, finally we received email that link application to CIC.

On email:
“Dear (my name):

To continue processing your application, you must link your application to an online account.

——————skip——————

• Link your application within seven calendar days from the day you receive this letter for faster processing times.”

I have tried lots of times (3rd day to tried) so I researched and I have tried past people of tips and just doesn’t work. I’m very nervous and frustrated ..
Oh yes, I have contacted to CIC call center and they sent me email for tips but doesn’t help.

My questions is ..
1) IF I couldn’t figure it out to
link application to my account thru CIC and passed 7days what happen?

2) IF without link application, How do we keep in eyes on track with our applications update?
