Linkedin Profile being viewed by CIC!

I'm due for my citizenship test next week and I also did my RQ in JAN 2013. Today I saw someone view my linkedin profile yesterday but was a "Service Support Agent" from CIC Etobicoke! My test will be in St Clair - i never had any files sent or seen at Etobicoke though. Should I be concerned and also what does the CIC Etobicoke office do? Do they also do Oaths, Tests etc?

They check your employment because there's a "Work" section on interview form in file that must be filled by an agent during an interview.

They're looking for concerns, e.g. if you're saying you're working, but LinkedIn account says you don't work anymore or never worked at positions listed in original application, it will prompt further questions during interview and, possibly, RQ.

Here's similar experience, but after interview: "On a side note: my spouse went on his linked-in account today and he saw that CIC had looked into his profile !! So I would suggest if you maintain a linked in account to keep it up to date if you do not want to confuse CIC with old or inaccurate info !!"

I've already been RQed so I guess they are just verifying info. I have nothing to hide anyways - i am well above the residence requirements. Was just curious LOL specially because it showed the Etobicoke office while I will be going to the St Clair office so was confused!

May be the CIC officer himself forgot to update his Linkedin profile,when he was transferred from Etobicoke to St. Clair
