We are trying to apply for a limited term passport for our newborn. I am a Canadian, and my husband is a US citizen with Canadian PR. I am unable to find how to actually apply for this type of passport. It seems that the application needs to be obtained / submitted through a Canadian consulate in the country of residence; However, since we are in the US, our consulates don't deal with passport services. Anyone have the form or a link?

Have you already applied for the Certificate of Citizenship? You need to mail your application to Canada.

i am curious. is there an age limit (day/weeks of newborn) when applying for a Validity Passport?

I may be wrong but recall seeing somewhere limited validity passports for children can only be issued from birth to age 2.

As above, under 2 years old. It is expected that people would have sorted out their child's documents by that point.
