Limit of Candidates to be sponsored

hello Members......


I want to know that in AINP Family Stream, how much candidates a sponsor can sponsor at one time. For Example, My uncle is going to sponsor me. Does he can only sponsor me or my brother as well at the same time (Both are his Nephews). We both meet the AINP Family Stream requirements.

secondly, work experience is complousry or not for AINP Family Stream, as we recently complted our Bachelors degree

dear, we both are unmarried and 23 and 25 years of age. cant he sponsor us as his nephews..becasue in family class its written "candidate and his spouse / common law partner". if its the matter then only one person could be sponsord in one family. i think it come to nephew then it could not be limited to just one person.

You and your brother are not spouses or common-law partners so you are not considered one family unit. You are considered 2 separate single guys. If you want to know for sure, have your uncle call the AINP and ask but I think I have read on their website that each household can only have one sponsorship going at a time.

dear, dont you think its the ristriction for sponsor's end, one household can sponsor only one sponsorship. but on the candidate end there could me more than one candidates for being sponsored.

dear i am taking about AINP Family Stream, it syas you can sponsor parent, child , brother sister, niece, nephew then how you can spponsor only one person in one sponsorship commitment. when it comes to sponsorship one household can sponsor one sponsorship commitment but he can sponsor many (2-3, depending upon the financial position) candidates.

the law says you can sponsor your niece / nephews, if there are 4-5 nephews/nieces in one family then you will sposnor only on nephew / niece. its same as you can adopt your orphan niece / nephew. its one sponsorship commitment at one time but the candidates to be sponsored are can be more than one. last year my three cousins got the immigration under family sponsorship (Adoption). there was only one sponsorship commitment(Sponsor: Maternal Aunt) and the candidates were three.

Family Connection
I would like to sponsor my brother; my wife would like to sponsor her parents. Can we submit two family stream applications to the AINP?

No. There can only be one ongoing sponsorship commitment per household at a time. A second sponsorship could only be considered once the initial sponsorship commitment has been fulfilled.

I don't think your uncle can sponsor you both at the same time. At http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/familystreamsponsor.html it says:

# A Sponsor must fulfill their sponsorship commitment prior to sponsoring another family member. The sponsorship commitment is defined as two years from the date that the Candidate became a permanent resident of Canada.

# Please note that there can only be one ongoing sponsorship commitment per household at a time. A second sponsorship from a household could only be considered once the initial sponsorship commitment has been fulfilled.

Adoption is different because you can adopt many children at the same time. You are adults and your uncle is not adopting you.

There is no point in discussing it here any further what we *think* the rules are so like I have already told you twice before, you or your uncle need to call the AINP and find out for sure.

Family means Your uncle can sponsor his whole family In American/Canada and other Western countries family means Father/Mother/Wife and children .If he is going to sponse you guys that means he is sponsoring each of you individually you don't come under family category
