Lima exemption , refused

Hello ,
I am living in Canada as visitor being sponsored with my wife ( spousal sponsorship outland) , I applied for LMIA exemption work permit but the CIC refused it telling me that this type of work permit should be applied from outside Canada .

Is that true ????

On what basis do you think you qualify?

As you applied outland, you don't qualify for a work permit based on the PR app.

It's not possible to check the status of an LMIA online. It's not unusual for an LMIA to take four months to process. Nothing you can do but wait.
