Life and woes of a College student

Hey guys, its been about 2 month that I've been here in Canada, (im at LSBF) and I am seriously considering shifting to Humber/Seneca/Sheridan, next term.

I plan on applying to their Bachelors in Commerce program, its a 4 yr Degree course,

What I want to know is, will this make me eligible for a PGWP? and what are the prospects of getting PR later down the line...


A detailed explanation would be greatly appreciated.

A 4 years bachelor will be shit expensive if you are a international student...also doing it from college is not really a preferred way of getting the the degree...you will spend 4 years and still you will get only 3 years work permit...go to university if you want to do the degree...

About PR...rules change every year.....4 years down the line who knows what will be there

You will be eligible for a 3-year PGWP upon graduation from a 4-year Bachelor of Commerce program. Humber is probably the best out of the three, well-known around Canada.

The chance of employment depends on your specialization during school. Finance and Accounting majors seem to have better chances of employment because they are graduating with tangible knowledge as well as having the pre-reqs to go for a professional designation such as CA, CFA, CMA, CGA.

If you are majoring in say...Human Resources, Strategy or International Business, your chances of direct employment may be more challenging, depends on what you are doing.

In order to get your PR, you need to secure 1-year Full-time employment in 0,A,B level skill positions.
