LICO req for parents not meeting for one year

Hello All,

I am trying to apply for my mother (widowed) for 2017 but my LICO req for 2013 falls short of $6k. The rest of 2014 and 2015 are well above. This might be a stupid question but what others ways can I show income for the shortcoming for 2013? Should I still apply or no? Please advise, thank you.

You do not qualify so no point in even trying as your app will just be rejected. Financial rules are absolute with no exceptions (unless you happen to live in Quebec where they only require 1 year of income).

You need to wait until next year.
