Hi friends,

I'm just having a question about the employment requirements for my NOC number (2173). I noticed that the job titles listed under 2173 need a kind of License from a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers. When my company hired me, they didn't ask me for the license. So I'm just wondering if I should avoid this NOC number. I'm afraid CIC may ask me to provide it. (But in fact I don't have one.)
Looking for your opinions.

Thanks

If you wanna be safe, why dont you use 2171 like I did...?

Thank you for your reply lilyluvx! (BTW... your NOC is 2174, not 2171? :))
I was thinking in that way, but most of my duties fall in 2173. :-\
Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

:-[ haha ur right.... im 2174 -_-|||

choose noc as your duties are. Many people got refused becuase their duties don't fully match their noc.
I never heard they refused any architect for not having a canadian license, and it is not logically possible to get if you are not in canada and working 3 years under a licensed architect and doing all sorts of exams. so how can you get it? you can't.
