Hello Friends,

I have done diploma 3 years and WES evaluated it as "Diploma (2 yrs)"

For each education credential there are two fields in EE profile:
  1. Level of education

  2. Level of education (Canadian equivalent)
Now my doubt is that "what will come under "Level of education" field.

I understand that in "Level of education (Canadian equivalent)" I have to select the level which is mentioned in ECA report. That is why I have selected "Two-year program ..."

Please suggest what will be in "Level of education" field? Since my diploma is full time 3 years so I dont think I should select "Two-year program ..." option. As my diploma is of 3 years. So should I select "Bachelor degree or a three or more year program..."

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (four years)

I faced this situation with my wife's degree and in both the cases, I selected the option that was mentioned in the ECA.

Should be the "Bachelor degree or a three or more year program..." as this is what it was in your country.
As you mentioned, you are already selecting the Canadian Equivalent in the other field

Level of degree is what is mentioned on your certificate. How Canadian equivalency is compared is different story. So IMO you should select it as different items in both sections. For my wife I selected masters as level of education but since ECA evaluated it as PG diploma I lost a point but selected appropriate option (and not masters).

The variation may be due to various reasons and we have to ensure we choose correct options. Best of luck

Many thanks for your reply friends. Understood from your replies that:

  1. Level of education >> (This will be the level which is in home country)

  2. Level of education (Canadian equivalent) >> (This will be as per ECA report)

correct!

You will get points for bacholers so select bacholers . You should not select Two or more degrees as Two Year diploma is not listed in the options. The lists contains Post Graduate courses

Guys, it seems what I was wrong. As I have already submitted my application what do you suggest I do now? Should I raise a CSE to highlight this issue?
