letters validating relationship

Hey all!

My mother, husbands parents, sister and a few friends wrote a letter validating our relationship. Anyways because they live far away from us is it okay for them to scan the signed copy of the letter and send it to us? Or do they perfer the original signed copy? I can easily get them to send the letter to me DHL, but I am hoping to avoid that hehehe

Hi there,

I too had letters validated regarding our relationship/marriage. In totally we had 11 letters (non notarized) my family and friends lived here in Canada and lots more overseas. The ones in Canada wrote them up and signed them or if they did it on their computers they used a script font to sign their letters. and the ones overseas mailed it to me.
you can use DHL of course if you need it quicker.

so I really don't think it matters, remember its not a requirement unless your relationship is common law.

Most I can get the original but a friend over seas scanned and sent it to me, so I am going to submit that one anyways. That will be the only one not as an original as my brother is coming next week so he is bringing all the letters from family
