I'm a Canadian citizen married to an American who is a Canadian permanent resident. I moved to the States years ago and recently renewed my wife's PR card. I was informed that a letter came in the mail to our Canadian contact address stating that the card can be picked up at an office local to that address on June 28th between the hours of 1:30 and 3:00.
We are still living in the States but are actually visiting that area around that time. Unfortunately we will actually be flying on the 28th and won't be crossing the border until the 29th. Is this appointment a hard set one (though the time range is kinda weird)? Do I need to reschedule? I know the 1-888 number only works in Canada. Is there another way to contact them about our situation? I notice they also mention that they will hold it for 180 days so can we just show up on the 29th and pick it up?
Thanks!
