Letter Of introduction

I asked embassy by email to issue my LOI and this is the reply I got from them:
'Dear Client,



Please note for students applying in Chandigarh who have been issued a study permit, you will not be issued a Port of Entry letter as this is not required for travel.'

This seems pretty weird because almost everyone I know who applied through Chandigarh got a LOI.

I guess you might be exempted if they have officially stated this over the mail.

Did you apply via an agent? Ask the embassy as its quite weird that only chd be exempted from such important rule.
its however, advisable to claim the letter as you might need at any given point in Canada. Not worth the risk.
 
Re: Letter Of introduction not received

I submitted a paper application at Visa application center ,Chandigarh. I received my passport with visa on it on 8 October 2016 but I haven't received letter of introduction. Please help me or tell me how can I get it and how to contact visa office. Please reply
 
I have applied through Bangalore vfs got stamped on 11october till now they did not send me LOI or POE letter through mail or did not update in cic account please help me he to get.
