Letter of Introduction issued but IEC still pending ??

Hi there,

I am wondering if anybody can help me!its been 6 weeks since I applied to CIC for my letter of introduction and am participating in the IEC programme. I still have not reduced my letter of introduction from CIC although my friend whom I will be travelling with got it 2 weeks ago...should I panic??is anybody else still waiting??i have tried to contact the CIC but to no avail I haven't heard back at all!!

the AVERAGE processing time from the moment you send your IEC application until CIC makes a decision on your application
is 8 ( eight ) weeks. Can be longer or shorter in some cases.

do you already have your LOI from CIC?

No I don't have the loi from my cic yet. It's actually been almost 7 weeks now from when I sent my cic application! Why is it taking so long?

Looking for some advice.. My CIC application was approved last week (finally) but I have still not recieved my introduction letter and I don't know what to do. Could I enter Canada and go speak to them in person about this? Maybe they could give me the loi there? In my iec account everything has now been approved and accepted so its strange that I haven't recieved the letter yet.

Any info would be appreciated.

log on to your mycic account and check your messages there. i never received a confirmation that my application
has been approved. the loi just showed up one day in my messages.
