Letter of explanation

So quick question, I'm applying for a visitor extension while waiting on PR, and I'm going to include a letter of explanation letting them know when I applied and my husband is sponsoring me. Should I just write it, or should my husband also write one? Or could I let them know the "background" (waiting on PR through sponsorship) and that my husband is financially responsible for me, and just have him sign it as well as me as a, "I agree with what she said"?
I just don't want them wondering why he didn't write one or sign one, or anything like that. Advice? Because my husband doesn't know which one to do either.

I think you should write it since it's your application, y'know? I've had trouble writing stuff and CIC being like YOURE NOT THE APPLICANT WE CANT LISTEN TO YOU (lawl)

(I'm the sponsor)

Lol, I could see them yelling that at paperwork too. But I didn't know if they would want to see my sponsor's signature on a piece of paper saying he does indeed do the things listed in the letter. But like you said, he's not the applicant so..

If it's easy to do that, do it. Theyre not gonna deny you for sending too much. If it's a hassle, I wouldn't lose sleep. But if it's too easy to include it as well, then do it up!
