Letter of Explanation for Proof of Fund

I am writing a letter of explanation covering issues that might raise questions about certain topics. Should I attach the additional supporting documents with the letter of explanation or with the specific document for which the supporting document is needed?

For Example:

For proof of fund, I have several other documents along with bank statements. Should I attach those documents under the section "Proof of Means of Financial Support" and write the reasons for adding them in my LOE?

Yes, attach each supporting document with the parent document only.

LOE is better to be left alone.

While attaching supporting docs to a parent doc, should there be any explanation along with the doc as to why I am adding those or should I add details of the attachment in my LOE and put a reference in the supporting doc (eg: check LOE page XX for details).

It's a better way to explain it in the LoE itself, since you can not write anything in the supporting docs that you upload.

All you need to do is, attach supporting docs to parent docs, and write in your LoE that in support of this (name of parent doc), I've attached this (name of supporting doc).
Simple as that.
