Letter of Explanation etc.. (Advice:Please help!)

So this is what I got written so far... Should I add anything else? Am I missing something? Change some things?

"This is an additional document, explaining my particular situation in applying to extend my stay as a visitor in Canada. I would like to extend my stay because I want to establish Common-Law with my partner so I can apply for Permanent Residence with my Common-Law as my sponsor."

And can someone please clarify about uploading the pay stubs; It asks for the past four months and that's 8 pages of it, we upload all that or how could I do that?
And the letter of declaration; can it be short and simple like the one I wrote above?

I'm struggling with how to get all of this figure out.
This is our first time dealing with stuff like this.

That sounds good for your letter of explanation. Mine was similar and I also wrote briefly about how long my relationship was and I even included the Months & Years of all of our visits to each other. I sent a copy of my return airline ticket and explained that I would have my ticket changed to accommodate any extension that is approved. It just showed them that I planned on returning to the States and that I know I am only a "visitor". Also don't forget to sign the letter before you scan it and have your sponsor sign the letter of financial responsibility before you scan it.
On that letter I just typed up something stating he declared that he was financially responsible for me while I was a visitor in Canada, it listed the name of his employer, address & phone #. I also had him get a letter signed from his employer stating his length of employment & job title.

As far as uploading the documents. I know that they show you the amount of uploads that you can do. I am trying to remember, but I think there might be a "financial" or a "misc" area to upload. I scanned the pay stubs, my bank statements, the declaration letter for financial responsibility from my sponsor & Letter from his employer and put those all in one file to upload. I scanned the letter of explanation and a copy of my return airline ticket in one file to upload. I know they want a copy of your passport and you will also need a small pic of yourself taken a place where they take "passport photo's" or "immigration photo's". I did mine at Shoppers Drug Mart. I had to scan that small pic as well.
Gosh, I wish I could remember everything better to help you. I will be doing this all over again in December. LOL

Is there a check list stating what documents are needed to apply?

Hi Nanami,

I am writing my explanation letter for my first visa extension right now. I have been living with my boyfriend for 5 month now and I was wondering if I should already mention that I will be applying for Permanent residence in 7 month (He will be sponsoring me as a common law). I thought I have to proof that I am planning on going back home (with a copy of my ticket, or explain ties back home) that's why this doesn't make sense to me.
So my question is, did you write ".. I want to establish Common law ..." in your first visitor extension and it has been approved?
