Hi Guys,

I received the ITA and have an LMIA from my current employer.

My checklist contains "Employment Records" for the 4 entries I added, 3 past employers and 1 current employer.

It also includes the "Offer of Employment" that I understand is the "Job Offer" that extended me after receiving the LMIA.

What would be the "Letter of Employment" then ? Should I attach the LMIA + the Job Offer here ? Or should I upload the SAME letter that I'm uploading for "Employment Records".

Thanks a million.

Letter of employment refers to your current agreement with your employer.. Start date, position, full time/part time, wage. It is different from the reference letter.

So, Offer of Employment is nothing else than a letter from my current employer ? As I already have to upload a letter (Letter of Reference) from my current employer in "Employment Records" can both be the same ? Does someone have a model that could share ?

letter of employment = letter of reference. Sometimes people use "letter of employment" to specifically refer to current employer.

Offer of employment is dfferent - is a required document to claim the 50/200 bonus points for having a "valid job offer." The letter must indicate that you will be employed for at least one year after becoming a permanent resident (or that you have permanent, full-time employment).

If the future job offer is included in the letter of employment, the same letter can be used for both.

employment records are the supporting documents (e.g. T4, NOA, record of employment, contracts, paytubs if necessary, etc.)

can you please tell what all you uploaded against those fields?
I am also in a similar situation now and confused about this.
The only difference in my situation is the job offer is future job offer as I am outside Canada, current employment is not in the scenario.

Hi I am in the same dilemma , what did you do at the end?

Can I upload the same letter in both?( I am currently I the same company)

Hello,
I have the same question. If I have a job offer with all the necessary points and a current letter of employment under employment records as by previous employers, what should I upload under the "letter" of Employment"?
Thanks

Hello, guys. I'm quitting my job in Montreal to convince the visa officer that I'm moving to another province, I didn't receive any points for it anyway because I had a PGWP so I didn't need LMIA. I have the letter of recommendation and ROC too. Do I have to send the offer of employment? Or is it okay if I include a letter of explanation about me quitting my job along with other documents from work?
