Letter of employment from current employer

I received my ITA 50 days ago. I am finalizing my documents. I have reference letters from all previous employers, which I obtained at the end of each employment. However, for my current employment (which started 6 months ago), I really do not want to disclose to my employer that I am immigrating to Canada. First, it will jeopardize my career, or at least, it will negatively impact my growth opportunities. Second, although I am doing my best in my immigration application, it is not guaranteed I will get it. I do not want to damage career for something is not in my hand yet.

Therefore, I am thinking to provide a letter of employment, that was issued recently by employer for some country visa application. The letter is addressed to that country's embassy though. My question, would this be a wise thing to do?

You only need to provide a letter from your employer if you are claiming points. You said u had been with them for 6 months right? U won't get any points for that ...

I could be wrong tho, but if it needs to be it will be. Just talk to your manager, I'm sure they will be ok

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If this job is irrelevant to your CRS/eligibility then remove it from work history and add only in personal history. No proof of employment will be required.

It won't do. But if it is only 6 months and it doesn't affect your points just remove this work experience from your profile. If you don't claim points for it you don't have to provide employment letter.

Thank you all for your replies. I have more than 3 years of work experience with other employers. So I guess that is enough for the points, right?
For the purpose of not hiding anything, will a normal employment letter (addressed to another embassy), in addition to job description, and offer letter be enough for this employment?

You do not need to provide any letter for this employment if you remove it from your work history. You won't hide anything if you put it in your personal history.

Good day, I think once you are given an ITA, your info in the pool must be as accurate as ever before and after ITA is issued. Removing that Job experience might affect his profile but since 6 months does not count in anyway, I don't thing It can stop you, but a good manager can cover up for that or do a government notary document. Good luck bro.

Another option could be if you could get a letter per cic requirement from a colleague or friend working with you . That's what I'm hoping to do, cause there's no way I can get my current boss or HR To issue such letter
