Hello, was wondering if Permanent Residents can obtain a letter of authorization for travelling urgently to Canada. My PR card has expired and need to travel to Canada for work. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Note, very important that you are in compliance with RO and no other issues.
Thank you!!! I'm well within the the residency obligations and had to postpone my citizenship oath due to this travel. Any idea how long would it take to process any urgent applications?

No idea. Depends where you are. Not certain they will see your request as urgent but try.

Are you residing in Canada and just happened to travel?

I had to travel due to some personal commitments. I marked the application as Urgent in the subject and waiting for some response. Hope they revert back soon.
