Dear all,

I have collected some of the job experiences letter from the employment agency on the agency letterhead as I was working by the agency in some places. Those letters mention company name, duration of work, and detailed job duties which match with the NOC duties.

Could anyone tell me please does Canadian High Commission accept the agency letter or the letter must be directly from the company on the company's letterhead?

Thanks.

PMM,visaexpert,Rupeshwari,Leon or anyone reply please.

Employment agency job experience letter would not work, you need to take it from your company in which you worked. Companys letterhead with seal ( if any) and you require - Appointment letter, promotion letter ( if any) , appreciation letter ( if any), resignation letter ( if any), Job duties letter ( send original) on letter head, 2 reference letters from Co workers - send originals, salary slip ( no compulsory), visiting card of the person issuing you job duties letter.

I think it is acceptable.Because CHC accepts jobs by the recruitment agency. As long as your agency confirms the duration of work, job title, job duties and some other details I do not foresee any problem. If CHC wants to make verification they can do that as well by contacting with the agency.

I don't think an employment agency letter will work. I think CIC is specific that it must come from the original company and on its letterhead.

Please do provide a followup post if your use of the letter does work

Those letters were issued by the director of the recruitment consultant whose all details including name, phone, fax, email are on the letter. The contract and payslips show the name of the agent + company. As they are 100% sure about the duties I performed and that is why they issued the letter.

I did that because company's manager/HR department suggested me to collect the letter from the consultant. Company said they issue such letter only if anyone is recruited directly to the company.

Consultant also verified my job duties by the manager prior to issuing the letter.

Dear Shibuya,

Many thanks for the link.Yes, I have got the correct answer. It is acceptable. In addition, I have found it from the CHC, they said as long as I enclose covering letter and expound the reason of collecting letter from the employment agency, not from the actual manager of the company, which is completely acceptable.I have retained all payslips and p45 to prove that I was employed by the agency which is a conclusive proof of my job as well as the job experience letter on the agency letterhead. Each agency has got their license number. Therefore there is nothing fraud.

God bless you. Thanks very much.I wish you will get Canada's PR.i am grateful to you.
