Letter from the bank as proof of financial support

Good day everyone i'm currently applying to get my visa for the January intake, but the money from the bank is not ready as yet so they said that they would write a letter and i could upload it as proof that the money is secured. My question is what should the letter entail? Also who must it be addressed to? If anyone has ever had to do this i would love an example of how their letter looked, thank you.

Hi, What do you mean by your money is not ready? were you applying for a loan?
