As some of you may know, I got a verification call on OCT 27 and verified all the work experience in the restaurant I worked. Then, I believe CHC ND called my employer also for verifying the same. During the call, my employer got all mixed up and mentioned all facts & figures randomly, as it occurred to him. So, apparently there were some inconsistencies regarding my work experience and the genuineness of this job.
CHC ND sent me this letter by post:
In support of your application for permanent residence in Canada, you submitted a work experience letter from XXXXXXX dated December 21, 2010 stating that you worked as a Restaurant Supervisor from June 15 2003 to July 31 2005 and a Restaurant Manager from August 1 2005 to July 16 2007. The signatory was the proprietor Mr.XXXXXXX. Phone verifications were made to XXXXXX and to yourself. There were inconsistencies in the information provided by the proprietor and by yourself. In your application and during the phone verification you stated that you worked for XXXXX from June 2003 to July 2007. During the phone verification the proprietor stated that you have been working at the restaurant as a restaurant manager for the last 3 to 4 years and just recently took leave. There were also inconsistencies in information provided concerning the seating capacity and number of staff. These inconsistencies lead me to believe that you did not work at XXXXX as a restaurant manager and that there is collusion.
Before a decision is made in your case, I am providing you with the opportunity to comment on the above concern or provide any observation or explanation in writing. You have thirty(30) days from the date of this letter to reply.
If you choose not to respond with additional information, or if the new information forwarded by you is not satisfactory, a decision will be made based on the information in your file.
I have just drafted a letter to send to CHC ND.
With reference to the letter sent to me dated October 3, I am writing this letter to address the concerns regarding inconsistencies in my case.
Upon learning that there were some discrepancies or I must say errors in furnishing information over the telephone by Mr. XXXXXXXX, I made a visit to the restaurant and at first discovered that there have been a lot of changes since I quit; both in terms of seating capacity and work force. Therefore, I believe that is what led to the inconsistency with regard to SEATING CAPACITY and NUMBER OF STAFF.
Secondly, upon speaking to the proprietor of XXXXXXXX, he told me that during the verification call he could not recall the time period I served for him so he randomly gave some figures, not realizing the importance and accuracy of the facts.
I assure you that there is no collusion and I indeed worked in XXXXXX for the specified period. I sincerely hope that this letter clarifies all doubts regarding the inconsistencies.
Let me know your thoughts and and if there is something in addition to this letter I should provide to clear the visa officer's doubts. Also, what are the chances of Interview/MR/Rejection
