Hi there,,
I recieved a letter from CIC London asking me to provide again a proof pf settlement funds. What kind of proof they are after. I sent them a bank statement before so shall I send the bank statement again or just a letter from the bank which states howmuch money I've got? all the best for all of you friends.

end them the bank statement of last three to four months to prove your point

send then either bank statement or a bank certificate showing the required amount of funds.

send them:
1. bank statements of as long back as possible even 2 years if it's not a problem 4 u
2. send them all originals (but always keep the photocopies)
3. also attach a cover letter stating ur monthly fixed income - ur monthy avg. expenditure= minimum monthly savings & mention that this amount will keep on adding to ur current balance.

May be your salary slips/ salary certificate from your company/other investment like stock,mutual funds,bank deposits apart from bank statments.

They are NOT asking for a bank statement..

Get a LETTER from your bank on your bank's letterhead. Here in the United States they give us a specific letter for immigration which is as follows on the bank letterhead.


This is to confirm that Mr...........so and so is a member of XXXXX bank since (give the year). Currently he has the following deposits (Ask the bank to give the amount deposited for one full year and the CURRENT amount of money).

The deposits are from a period of April 2009 to April 2010.

Hi All and thank you very much for your advice, I was in the bank today morning, I discussed the letter that some of you guys mentioned it, the bank agreed to give me the letter, now my dad has supported me with the money this month for the immigration issues, will this be a problem? I work and I take a monthly salary but haven't got the required amount in my account that's why my dad helped me.

My friend, I really appreciate your help.... your advice is the way to success.
