Hello,
I'm seeking advice. I was given a letter from CIC, stating that they have reasons to believe that I may have misrepresented my marriage with my ex wife because our relationship ended shortly after I received my permanent residence. I moved to Canada January, 2010 because I was in love with my wife after meeting her online. We got married March 2010. I got my permanent residence the following year 2011. And then we got divorced in 2014. I have pictures, videos and emails showing that our love for each other was indeed genuine. But we had many problems within the relationship. She was 20 years older than me so she was controlling and got jealous at many things. We had many problems but was able to work things out and would still be friends after the divorce in 2014. But thing took a dark turn after I went into another relationship. In that same year, 2014, I told my ex wife that I was having a baby with my new girlfriend. That is when I've been experiencing many problems. She tried to get me deported on allegations of a 2011 domestic violence incident. From 2014 to 2017, I've being dealing with it and now it is resolved. But now, I got that letter from CIC, 10 days after I married that same new girlfriend and mother of my child. Coincidence? CIC told me that I have 30 days to prove my genuine of my relationship with my ex. Any thoughts or past experiences on that matter?
