Dear Friends,

Today I have recieved a letter from the Canadian embassy after 3 months of processing time and medical submission, it says ..,

"Specifically, I have determined that a person or entity has prepared your application and that they have not been disclosed on your application as required by the Regulations. This withholding on your part could induce an error in the administration of this Act as a common entity has prepared your application and numerous others in our office, leading to doubt as to the accuracy of the common information on your application.

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to provide information to address my concerns."

This is what the letter states.

I am totally confused after reading this letter. B"coz I have prepared my application on my own and no body helped me nor any agents. How this could be similar to any other applications the embassy being processed? what can I do ? What should I need to provide to the embassy that it was done by myself. Dear members and experts kindly help me.

Contact a immigration lawyer/agent. If you have kept all copies of the application you have sent, take it with you and ask them. They may address something you haven't included or you have included something that they are unable to verify, such as financing letter or etc.

I would say that because your english is pretty dang good, the VO is a bit confused thinking you didn't do it yourself. Contact the embassy by phone to arrange for an interview, just to prove that you are that good.

Dear Members,

Thank you very much for your valuable comments.

I just wonder whether it is appropriate for me to send a letter to the Canadian Embassy addressing the Visa officer's concerns. Please kindly let me know....

CALL THEM!

Book an appointment for as soon as possible. Letters can disappear and take time.

At which consulate/embassy you applied? Recheck all your documents, like statement of purpose, Affidavits or any written material which you produced at your own. May be by mistake you copied a part of it from google or any source?

Dear Members,

I have applied at the Canadian High Commission, Sri Lanka.. The CHC has only requested me to provide an explanation regarding the similarities of contents on other visa applications and mine.. This could not have happened in any way, since my application was completed by myself without seeking any assistance from anyone. So, I believe that I have to inform this matter in detail through a letter. What do you think guys?

Did you copy ANY text from the internet to your paperwork? Canada is very strict when it comes to plagiarism.

Dear itstime,

Thank you for your comment.

No, I have not copied anything from internet... It was purely from my own effort.. I am totally confused with the way the embassy considered the application...

Dear Minaz,

Not yet... I have contacted a Canadian Immigration lawyer and I was told by him to send a letter to the Canadian high commission, Sri Lanka explaining this matter and to let them know that I did not have a representative and that I did not lie or misrepresent myself and that I did in fact applied for myself.
So, now I am preparing myself a letter to send them and hope it will work.

Visa Officer Have Doubts that Some Consultant has Submitted Your Application and Many Other Applications Also.

It Could Happen just Because of Copying very Common Format of Explanation Letter or They Way the Documents were Arranged..

Or the theme is Common for the Application which is Used by Many Ppl...

So you could write an Email to Embassy... Using the Specific Case Form.

Include Your File Number, Name and Date Of Birth.

That would be a Good Option as All Emails are Forwarded on the base of Your File Number, The Emails are Checked and the Specified File Number Identifies the Visa Officer who is Handling It. So I Suggest you to Email :)
