Letter Accompanying Visa (",)

Hi All

Just got this letter through my CIC portal - "Letter Accompanying Visa" and my CIC profile has updated to application approved! FINALLY!!!

Within the letter it states
"You have now been issued your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form (IMM5292 or IMM5688) for you and all accompanying dependants. Do not make any corrections to the COPR. Do not sign the COPR until instructed to do so by an Immigration Officer at landing. Please note that as of December 1, 2011, citizens of visa-exempt countries will not have a counterfoil affixed to their passport. These applicants will only be issued a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) form and an electronic foil (IMM5785)."

My question is I do not have IMM5688 or IMM5785 with the electronic letter that was updated to my profile? Do these get posted via hard copy or do they get sent electronically at a later date?

you will get another letter , 2 copies per person when you receive your passport with entry visa stamped.

I do not require a visa as i am from UK so there is no stamp required within my passport.
Are the letters hard copy's or electronic via the CIC profile...

We are exactly in the same situation. We have just received the letter accompanying visa but we are confused as to whether we are going to receive the IMM5688 and IMM5785 in electronic copy or hard copy. Did you find the answer to your question?

Hello,

Congratulations on your COPR! Yes, you will receive the hard copy of the official COPR document with your photo on it by mail. This is this document that you need when you land or at an immigration office in Canada if you are already in Canada.

Thanks. I've already received the hard copy of CoPR through mail. I was just slightly confused about the Electronic Counterfoil thing, but I understand that it is something that is sent over electronically anyway so I dont have to worry about it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't really remember the electronic version but the most important is to have the hard copy of the COPR.
