Is NDVO (New Delhi Visa Office) closed on Monday August 28, 2017 For security and safety precautions, because of the riots and conviction on Monday?

Hi guys,
Im from Pakistan,
I applied for student visa on 24th June,
Got bio metrics done on 26th June,
Got called for medical exam on 27th July,
Passed Medical Exam on 4th August,
Now still waiting for final answer the embassy hasnt even asked for my visa yet and im worried if i'll get the visa in time as classes start on 7th September and Eid Holidays are also coming up, Can Anyone tell me how long it takes for a final answer after u have passed the medical exam and what are the chances of rejection after passing medical.

Hello .. applied through online last July 17. Medical done by aug 24. Status: Still in progress.

School: Sheridan, HMC
Course: Business Ad - Accounting
Intake: sept 5

Apply on 23th July from vfs kolkata.. since the its showing only one msg `file processed in VFS New Delhi` can`t link online because of NO end date of course..offer letter doesn`t have one on it. Classes start on 6th Sept University of Regina. Anyone related to situation /university.

Hi my status shows in vfs online as your processed passport has been returned to visa application centre.. what does that mean?

Hello everyone,
I applied at Bangalore Vfs on 13th July.
And linked my paper application online on Aug 21. My medicals were already updated when I signed in. Ever since then the file is being processed. It's past 6 weeks and 5 days. I'm really worried. My classes starts on September 5th and orientation is on September 1st.
What should I do. Guys please give me some suggestions. Should I email the embassy??

Hey .. U can mail them but dont think they will reply. I applied from july12th.. August 2nd week itself medicals were updated wen I opened.. They are taking time for reviewing the eligibility.. But dont know how long they will take.
We have to wait this week..
My orientations are starting today.. Wwt to do
