vfs tracking only shows 2 status updates ie 1st under processing & 2nd passport dispatched that's it nothing more. to know more about application we can link it to cic account.
i submitted offline (paper based).
under spp so medical was upfront.

Finally got my visa approval and passport request letter today.
Applied online on may13th.

same as yesterday except for the last final decision row which was updates as "Your application has been approved submit your valid passport to finalise the application.

For the benefit on those who applied online (for a tentative timeline)
Applied online for study permit on 1 May 2017 (from India).
IELTS overall 8.
Medical upfront.
Passed Medicals on 29th May (saw the status on CIC account. Did not receive any email)
Received request for passport submission on 1 June.
Submitted passport on 1 June at VFS Bangalore.
Collected passport with visa stamped on 7 June.
