Details of my application:
Medical completed: 19-May-2017
Application Submitted: 16-June-2017
Type: Paper based at VFS, Bangalore (self, no representative)
Linked the application to CIC online account on 30-June-2017
Application: Approved on 24-July-2017
Received VISA fixed on Passport
Received a 2 sided letter (soft copy in CIC account, no hard copy from VFS) with details.
Programme: Ph.D at University of Waterloo

I applied at vfs Chennai and recieved two mails one stating my application forward to bangalore and the next day a mail stating it is processing in Delhi...passed my medicals on 24 July and waiting ever since
I applied on same date but mine is in Bangalore . Very worried like you the end of June applications are getting their approvals none so far for me.
Dont wory i hope we will recieve our visas soon !! As it is 6 week going on , hopefuly we will recieve the good news soon
I think you have not seen CIC website the processing time is now 7 weeks.
