Hi..guys.. Can anyone help me please.. I'm a live in caregiver who will apply an owp/pr this coming October. I went to Philippines last January for 6 weeks, thats why I'm planning to use the option 2 (3900hrs)in applying just to save time.. My employer payed $350 for my tax every month where in I believe that suit for 160 hours per month or 20 days in a month..but as I calculate it,some of the months because we have different numbers of days in a month my total days would be 24 days where in I have a total of 178 hours..So if I will declare it to my application And she's paying $350 every month. Is that okay? Do you think my employer needs to pay more about my tax if I have more days?I dont want her to get in trouble if I will make a wrong move so needs your advice.. Thanks in advance.. Gid Bless to us..

Hi. We need an advice po about the medical, my mother just got her owp last week, and I'm worried about my father's condition, not totally bad, but somehow i think can affect our medical,
my dad had undergone an operation on his left ankle, and he has a titanium plate inside it because he had a broken bone when they met an accident last february, but it's been 6 months now since the operation, and he can walk but not completely as normal as he used to walk then, the doctor said he can walk norma again after a year coz it's only a partial disability, can you please suggest something po on what we gonna do, if we need to get medical certificate from our doctor to prove that it's only a partial disability,
Is my father's temporary condition can heavily affect our medical when we are requested to have it? Would it delay our application, or medical? Hope it wont. Thankyou po sa help, highly appreciated! Godbless!

New girl here. Hello every1. I got a question. I came to Canada as a live in caregiver in 2013. I have changed jobs twice. I recently changed jobs and wish to apply for pr under the old rule of 22 months with 3900 hours. My question is can i still apply under the old rule if I changed jobs? I am still living at my employer. My new work permit says caregiver and not live in caregiver. It has be confused. I have to call immigration but just asking thone experienced individuals here.

Hello. We're done in our medical last month aug 12, and my mother already submitted our additional documents on first week of september, which were requested by cic the day they sent us medical request last july 29. We haven't heard anything from cic since our medical done.
I am just worried about my father's partial physical disability, he met an accident but now he can walk again, but when we undergone our medical last aug. we still submitted medical certificate to prove that there is a titanium plate in his ankle and he undergone operation.
I just want to know if by chance any one of you guys know if my father's partial condition would might be the reason to deny our application? Can it affect our application? I'm worried about being denied because of that. I hope it would not be that big deal for cic. Sad thanks in advance!

Hi guys,

Can caregiver bring her family i.e. one year old kid and husband or only kid if possible to Canada with her after her case is approved and she come to Canada? i saw this on cic website:

Can my family come to Canada with me if I am a live-in caregiver?
Family members do not normally come to Canada with people working under the Live-in Caregiver Program. Even if an employer agrees that a family member can live with you in the home where you will provide care, future employers may not agree to the same terms. Also, you may not make enough money to support your family members in Canada.

However, you may be allowed to bring your family with you if you satisfy a visa officer that:

you have enough money to care for and support your family members in Canada, and
your employer will let them live in the home where you will provide care.

If this is the case then how long does it usually take to bring them to Canada?

Thanks
Zibal

Can someone send me a template ofor an excel spreadsheet of the total deductions of my pay slips instead of sending all of them.
