Hi beau915! When I recv the"3 in 1 kit" from cic, its highlighted in the checklist what specific document and application form that I need to submit in behalf for my dependant. So u only need to submit all that is on highlighted on the list.

thanks for the answers rolene..at least nalinawan n ako.ung 3 in 1 kit un na ba ung medical request a nd additional requirements for our dpendants? anyway dun sa pinadala nila sakin na additional papers for my dependants wala kasi naka highlight kung alin lng ang padadala ko sa kanila.i guess ill just give them all that i can gather just to be sure.nung initial application kasi sinubmit ko na lahat eh.sana di magkaroon ng hassle sa medical nung dependants ko.thanks again rolene. :D

Hi all... Did everyone submit a police clearance check ( with figerprints ) from rcmp, included in your application for pr/owp? the instruction guide says "submit police clearances from countries...OTHER THAN CANADA, though..

Hi beau915! I think ur application is one of those applicant that I met here. Yes, your right. It's sounds confusing because there's no highlight your checklist. You are confuse which one among the documents that you need to submit. But based on there experience, and if u take my advise if u don't mind..just submit all the docs that you think that you didn't submit yet. Like in your part, you already submit your nbi clearance when you apply for open & Pr. So I think, only your husband need to have that and include the nbi clearance in your kit. Thanks & May God Almighty bless us all. Best wishes.

This is my timeline..
Submit application for Open & Pr--May 5,2014
Aor recv--June 12
Recv open permit by mail dated July13 released--July 30
Recv "3 in 1 kit" from Cic Tru email--July 30
Daughter done her medical at St. Luke's Global city in Manila--Sept.14
Husband done medical in Saudi Arabia--Sept.21
Submit Lc2 kit and docs for dependants--Sept.27, 2014
Email for dependants original pasport submission--waiting
Email for interview--waiting

Hi guyz
I just wanna ask if you have an idea about the new policy for live in caregiver program that has been released by Minister Chris...it was stated that after 6 mos of being a live in caregiver we are qualified to for apply . Is it immediately effective? My friend is under the live in caregiver for 1 year and 2 mos now... could she apply for PR now?

Thanks for sharing your ideas guyz.

here's an information from CIC's help page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=037&t=4

Do I need to provide a police certificate for my time in Canada?

You do not need a police certificate for your time in Canada if you are applying for permanent residence from within Canada in one of the following categories:

live-in caregiver;
humanitarian and compassionate considerations;
temporary resident permit holder;
spouse or common-law partner; or
protected person or Convention refugee.

If you are applying under any other category or from outside of Canada, you may be requested to submit a Canadian police certificate for your time in Canada.

thanks blackeyes... So you didn't do RCMP fingerprint check (not the name check) when you submitted your application?
