No need for your police clearance from Inside Canada you just need police clearance from countries where you stayed for 6 months or more.

got this email from CIC this morning, how do you guys call this stage of our PR application? I haven't receive my open work permit yet.. Still, I'm praying for everyone's success:) Thanks!

This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Live-in Caregiver Class.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident

status as a Member of the Live-in Caregiver Class. However, a final decision will not be made

until all remaining requirements have been met. If applicable, all of your family members, both

in Canada and abroad, must pass medical and background checks even if they are not applying

to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and your

family members have passed the medicals and background checks.

Passports for yourself and your family members must be valid for the duration of your stay in

Canada.

Congrats blackeyes28.so happy for you.grabe worried ako sa papers ko kc until now wala pa akong aip or owp :(

thanks @rrsd0608, I phoned cic today and the agent said my owp is not yet ready, let's keep praying. I hope and pray that you'll receive yours soon. It's just a matter of time, Good luck! ;)

Hi.
I have a question about applying under Option 1 - 24 months. If you can suggest me - is the vacation time included in the overall employment of a live-in caregiver? I went abroad for my vacation for 9 days and had to continue working extra 9 days to make up those 24 months....thank you.

Hi! I'm just new here. Anyone knows how long will your family wait for them to receive their passports back after they were requested to submit them to Canadian Embassy in Manila? I applied for PR on January 2011 and just landed last July, so my family in Manila is now waiting for their visa. In the letter, it says 4-6 weeks to wait after i was granted the PR.

Thanks

hello... is it true that LCP visa processing in manila is way more faster this year? I had my speaktest in June 30th. 2014 and medical in August 5th, 2014. Is there anybody there that has the same timeline?

Yes I know...kinda short notice from them. Today is 12 Aug and 15 th is the interview.
Be aware in the email they say if y miss the interview it can be seen as you might not be interested in the PR anymore.

I m so glad...nearly there. I will let y know how the interview went, what kinda question etc.
I had to get new PR photos again today. Didn't know they need them but we do.

Bless everyone who is still waiting.
I got a little quote that I looked at every morning.
" always believe something beautiful is about to happen."

Keep the faith.....soon it's your turn.
