You must be confused on the family background form where you should write your parents and siblings information. If you are single then you will not receive any kit as it only applies to the dependents. If you need a medical they will send you a medical request with instructions. I never received any medical request and had landed already so do not stress yourself about medical because it is just a random selection. You cannot go forward now until you get another letter after your AIP.

Parents can be sponsored in the future but will not be processed parallel with your Pr application.

IMM5406 ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION FORM

SECTION A: You, Spouse and parents Info
SECTION B: Children
SECTION C: siblings Including half sister and half brother

There will be another email for the medical instruction for you (if you will be required) and for for dependents (if you have dependents) and the kit or the additional forms. Background check is conducted by your local CIC in your home country and not by you. Parents are not included on the processing of the PR.

Hi forum people can anybody share their interview experience from Etobicoke office.
I got interview my interview for 16th August Saturday.

Hi nees that s nice . I got my email to pay the fee a day after you...july 26th. But so far no email for the interview : (. My cic office is also Etobikoke. I m from Toronto.

Hope to hear soon from them. So up to 2 months wait, aie???

After AIP i received a letter that my application has been completed then my ecas changed to Decision Made after 2 weeks i received an email from local CIC for my appointment for confirmation of PR. As i was saying if you needed to undergo medical test they will send you another letter with instructions for your medical. Just sit and relax for now and wait for any letter soon from CIC for any update in your application.

As i was saying if you needed to undergo medical test they will send you another letter with instructions for your medical. Just sit and relax for now and wait for any letter soon from CIC for any update in your application.

No..it is a random selection depending on the officer handling your case. Supposedly there will be no more 2 nd medical for LIC when they apply for PR under "Tijada Law" but some applicants received medical request and aome did not inluding me. Some who received medical request called CIC and told them about the law and the agent told them just ignore the medical request, some did get the medical exam for compliance. In my case i never received any medical request but it was a condition on my Confirmation of PR which is condition 32- Medical Surveillance. I will be calling CIC tomorrow to clarify this because the case officer who interviewed me never discussed this condition at the time of my confirmation and i never received any medical request.

DM is not a letter. It means Decision Made on the e-cas. In some cases after "we are processing your app" it comes DM. Usually you get your COPR a few days after.

Are you their first time live in caregiver? I can send you a blank template on excel format for your employer, it will include a time sheet, payroll, cheque confirmation. If they dont have a time sheet for you how are they paying you? Are they paying you on a standard 8 hours x $xx a day? Or Just $XXX a month?
