Hi bluegold.i think we are almost on the same timeline.i sent my application in Vegreville and they receivedmit on May 21,2014.!it took me amost 2 months of waiting for the AOR to received via email.i always phoned cic and they said my application is "on process" .all we need to do is just to wait and pray.Maybe yours will arrive soon

Hi everyone. I have good news that will give you a BIG hope about your application too!

I sent my PR and OWP application to Vegreville on the 20 of May 2014 and they received it on the 22 of May 2014.

August 5 2014 they approved my PR and OWP and sent my Documents to Edmonton and told me to wait for an interview from 4 to 6 weeks and become a Permanent resident on the same day of the interview.

OWP is sent and will be here by the end of this week, this was confirmed twice.

I am surprised because they worked on my application so fast! I didn't expect to become PR in just 4 months.

Wow. That is pretty fast. My application was mailed on July 17 and I was told that they are still working on applications received on June 10.

Hi Vhen..Congrats to you!!!!
I'm also married and have 2 children as dependants.
My application was received April 22, 2014.
Got my OWP approved in July 16, 2014.
Today, August 1, I received the email for the AIP and Medical Instruction for dependants.
I think that we are on the same "boat"....

Do we have to pay now for the right of PR before they get the result for Medical and the final approval?
And do we have to send the same documents that was on the checklist when we initially submitted the application for PR?
or do we just need to send them any outstanding documents that they require...like passport photos?
Thanks for any idea

yeah its better we pay the PR fee together with the documents requested maybe it will fasten the processing of our application and regarding the documents needed some did only the highlighted or the outstanding ones but some did it all so it depends on us.

Hoping to hear from you regarding your application since we're on the same boat..

hello po i'm new here,asa step na ako ng pag file sa VAC,it says sa checklist ko na kailangan magprovide ng proof of contributions sa sss and philhealth..voluntary lang yung sa akin..need po ba talaga yun? pls help..

i think you have to submit kung anu ang nakalagay sa checklist mo to avoid any problems while processing your documents.

I got mine in the mail coz I forgot to put an e-mail address on my application. If you put an e-mail address on your application, you will receive all correspondence from cic in your e-mail.
