Hello.

I am laid off and next week is the last week when I can actually submit application for PR under option 1 - 24 months...still wondering...how they count / calculate the days until you can apply...but just before the final day of work I need to submit the papers via regular mail.
Do you know, will CIC look at the mailing date when you submit the papers?

Hi there, it doesn't matter WHEN you will mail your application, just make sure you completed your 24months. Because you choose option 1, so thats how they will calculate, i guess. But there will be a problem with your situation, Do you have a new job as a caregiver? Im just wondering, becoz as far as i know, u have to be, still under Live in Caregiver program while your application is being process..maybe you can put on another thread with regards your status, some people here might help you, they know more about LCP Program better than Me!

I hope it helps u :P
