I know this is not part of the OWP/PR but I just want to ask if anyone of you encountered about GST? I received a letter today asking for my world income last 20013 coz I was arrived here last nov of 2013 and since I don't have work that year what should I reply on this? do I need to write them a letter confirming that I don't have any income or job last 2013? and it should be a hand written? please help me on this,,,thanks

Please elaborate, who requested it? What is GST? If I'm not mistaken this is related to Canadian taxation.

Hi kindly contact Service Canada hotline number regarding your situation, it has something to do about u'r income taxes. Here's their hotline number ;

write a letter to CRA state that you are not employed hence no income. They need that info to determine if you are eligible to receive gst/hst. If you type or handwrite doesn't matter, important thing is to sign and date the letter.

i got letter fron CIC that my application completed on 25th June.
I didn't get interview letter yet.
I called cic yesterday agent said needs to wait 2 months for interview.
its Etobicoke office Ontario.
anybody knows how long the office take.

I had this experience before. What I did (as directed by a CRA agent) is, I filled up a form which I downloaded from CRA website that asks for world income. I didn't have an income too so I just wrote "0". Then sent back the form to them. Or as others suggested, you can write a letter too. I think both should work

Hello.Thank God that I just received my AOR this morning through email.It's just contrary to what they've said before that they are not going to issue any AOR.Sometimes you really can't rely on what the agents are telling.But anyway,I really thank God kc sympre at least I know that they are working on my file now Hoping to recieve OWP the soonest possible time
