Praise GOD!!! My dependant (son) got his visa, approximately 3 weeks after i got my PR. His visa validity is june 2015- Nov 2015.
Have to get him here by then, ticket prices are soaring right now. I had thought the visa is usually valid for a year. Anyways, I'm over the moon :)

Ay what I mean is that, its good that you guys are already done with everything.
And the 2nd sentence po I was just saying that , meanwhile 2012 applicants are still waiting.

I hope you didnt misunderstood po.
At the end of the day were all gonna meet at the finished line. Hopefully soon na yun po ☺

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to translate:)
I pray you get yours soon. It's terrible that you have to wait so long. I even read on the 2014 forum, some of them have gotten PR, so I wander why those who applied as far back as 2012 are still being made to wait in limbo.
I pray that we all get what we left our homes and families to come to Canada for.
All the best and GOD bless :)

Recieved an email from CpVc my family members application has been transferred to visa office manila..Bkit po kya?ngreassesment sila las april 13..

Hi,
I'm assuming you just received your PR and your sons got their visa to come over. I don't know f there are any requirements ,other than to bring them so they can be landed before their entry visa expires.

yes you can't coz your COPR is not a travel document and they took our open permit.
Thanks for your reply Lovelybird. The PR card takes a while for them to send

Hi Everyone,
Please quick question for anyone who has a dependent that is landed, did the immigration ask you to show proof of funds when you were coming in? Also, how long does it take from the time when your dependent child/children came into Canada(landed) and the time that they are given PR. Or are they given PR as soon as they cross the immigration officer at the airport? In that case, all that's left is for you to register and obtain healthcard and SIN card for them, yes?

its nit always valid for a year, my dependants visa was only valid for 3 weeks thats why i have to rush and get them from philippines to bad i end up not travelling with them to canada because of that stupid travel documents. So i let my kids travel with my friend last june 18 and we are supposed to travel all together on june 28th but since their visa will be expired on july 1st i let them go other wise they couldn't make it because i was waiting for my travel documents and i didnt know if it will come before the 28th but still thankful they are all settle now here in canada.
