Hello! Nothing... None yet... yung nauna pa tayo na ni assist ko sa documents nila na taga amin lugar din
nasa Toronto na kahapon pa. I'm happy for them but hopefully we're next naaaaaaa...

For now, I hope to receive the approval and PPR. I have 2 kids in college to enroll and still pay in full to be able to get their credentials just in case the approval comes after they have been enrolled.

Kaya pa natin toh!!! Patience... :)

Sorry I have no idea about it, you can call CIC call center to ask .good luck!

This week is over. :(

The additional documents we sent were received by CIC but I am wondering if they already opened it or has been attached with our other docs. When will the VO continue processing our application? I wish I know... :(

Is there anyone here, who were asked to submit additional docs and medical is soon to expire or expired already?

Hello Guys,

Share ko lang experience ko sa inyo in case you're still waiting for ur LC2's visa...

I had my PR appearance here in Vancouver last March 3, 2015 til now wala pa dn visa/pp ng asawa ko. I phoned CIC yesterday and found out what happened. The visa officer who interviewed me last March 3 didn't send my PR confirmation right away, they just send my PR confirmation last APRIL 23, 2015 to VOM, it took them more than 7 weeks, that's why it's been 12 weeks now and my LC2's PP/VISA is still on hold. If you're LC1 has time, please call CIC and make sure that the visa officer send their PR confirmation in VOM.

God bless everyone..

Hi Everyone,
Great news! I received an email today with the heading :NOTICE OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE INTERVIEW :P :P :P
The email states that my interview is scheduled for next week. One of the requirements is that i appear with my dependants. Now, that, i don't understand. My son(my only dependent) is back in my home country, so how on earth am i supposed to have him here by next week? :o
They also want his passport photos, which i might be able to get sent over by UPS...

Please what do they ask at the interview and what documents do I need to take?

Thanks so much for your help

Hi! i'm new here. I just wanna ask about police certificate. I worked in Saudi Arabia last 2011-2013. I have an old saudi police certificate with me with the english translation from saudi. Im a live in caregiver here since june 2013. Im about to apply for my OWP & PR this month. My question is,, Do I have to submit a saudi police certificate for my application? because i heard that i have to submit police certificate from countries i lived for more than 6 months. but i tried to check the cic website it says that "it is only available for current legal residents". does it mean it's okay i don't submit one? or can i use my old saudi police certificate which i used when i applied here as LIC in riyadh. here's what i found on cic website:

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

If you are not a citizen of Saudi Arabia:

If you live in Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

If you live outside of Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.

Anyone here can give me advice? I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance. God bless!

Thanks for your reply espasol.
I was finally able to speak to a CIC call center agent( honestly, it's almost easier to get to speak to the president than it is to an agent) and was told that the requirememt doesn't apply to us applicants whose dependents are overseas. I am only required to bring my own documents :). Thank GOD!
