I am sorry to hear that ,Strawberry, condolence strawberry and to your husband. They do not know what we suffered from this .Most of us worked in Canada for over 3 or 4 years, we missed our child the whole teenage life. How many '4 years' in our life? Yes,this is totally a torture to both of us!The only thing we can do is wait,wait,wait........

Thank you... if only the plane ticket was not that high, my hubby would be able to come and see his dad for the last time. But my hubby decided to be practical, also thinking of us if the PPR/Approval/Visa comes till next year, he would be needing a lot of $$$$. I hope the approval comes to at least give him the comfort he needs now.

Hello!!!! :D I am not an expert nor the same w/ your situation, but let me just give you my personal opinion. Since you are not married and did not declare the father of your child in his birth certificate. You have the full parental authority for your child, so no need for a father's consent.

The paternal consent form will not be applicable to you.

Hi,
I know someone in a similar situation, except that the father's name is on the birth certificate of the child(though she was never married to him). So in her case, would she need paternal consent, even though she has no idea where the father is?

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Congratulations to those who got landed, interviews, e.t.c. For those of us still waiting, I pray that the new year will bring good news for us all, in Jesus' Name, AMEN!!!

Stay blessed everyone and let's try to check in once in a while to give and also get encouragement :) ;D

hi I have a son and the fathers name is unknown and im not married to the father either. What I did was I still let the dad signed the none accompanying parent and submit it to CIC because they asked for it. Good thing the dad freely signed it.

What if the father signed the birth certificate? Im not married to him and our child using my surname..do i still need custody paper?

Yes you need it. The CIC will ask for it, then if you can't provide a custody letter, you have to make a supporting letter why you can't provide those requirements and it has to be truthful.

I just received my PPR request for my dependants.... THANK YOU LORD!!!

For those who are all waiting, keep the faith and yours will be coming soon too! :)

Just want to ask for those who mailed their passports to CEM, did you send them thru LBC or DHL?

thanks again in advance for those who will reply.
