Hello! Perhaps we could do that. Did you try to call cic and ask about it? Or we'll just wait for the 2nd email. I hope it won't be long.... -- single applicant from ON

I just called cic and agent told me I don't need to wait for another email. We can already pay it. I hope the email appointment will not take long. Good luck to us! God bless

Thank you for your reply... So I can make a payment now? even if I have not received the 2nd email yet? I just got the 1st email, a 2 page letter, last June 8. It didn't tell me to pay anything. And I called CIC today, an agent told me to wait for the 2nd email.

"This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Live-in Caregiver Class. It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status as a Member of the Live-in Caregiver Class. However, a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements have been met."

But you said its okay to pay now, so I might as well just do it. It's almost 3 weeks anyway since I received the 1st email...

Hello! I am new here. Application filed in Vegreville. Please...I need some help and advice..

"A final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements have been met. If applicable,
all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, must pass medical and background
checks even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a
permanent resident until you and your family members have passed the medicals and
background checks."

He's in the Philippines. No medical request yet. He is about to complete his police clearances in 3 countries. My question is, where do we need to send his police clearances? In Manila Visa Office or in CPC-Vegreville? Thank you. :) Your help will be appreciated.

Hi GraciaZZZ,
I received same letter but still no medical request. I was informed that my dependent family ( my 8 year-old son) will be contacted by the immigration office back home (not in the Philippines), concerning the medicals and other checks. This was a month ago, and nothing more to date. Recent attempts to contact cic have proved futile. I'm so frustrated right now (: . What's even worse is that the letter states that we have 90 days to submit all required medicals and checks.

Have you tried contacting cic? I think they are the ones who can give you the right information about where to send the documents.

Please is anyone else in a similar situation? What did you do? Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

God bless
