What does he mean by "my spouse received her approval in principle hard copy by postmarked letter. "? I hope we get ours soon and i hope LC2 processing is way faster as well.. Godbless us all..

I think it means that the AIP notice was sent thru regular mail and not thru email. Yes I hope and pray too that the LC2 processing will also be much faster now. I think 1 yr processing of just the LC2 is already way too long. Anyway I think we can't do much about it except to wait... God bless us all.

lets hope and pray for the best i think cic is working hard right now lot of single applicants got their interview sched in just 1 yr and 4 mons of processing ...lc2 wish they will speed up to hoping that my husband will be with me by the end of the year and maximum next year

Hi! everyone. I need a help! Im confuse on what am i going to do with my passport. Im about to send my working permit application next week and my passport validity is only valid for 1year and 7 months. I would like to know if after i send my application using my existing passport. Can i renew my passport and send a copy at embassy as soon as i get my new issued passport?
Please help..

I phoned CIC just now and the agent said my document has been issued yesterday.. isent mine nov 26

congrats lovelybird. getting an open work permit in the mail is first step to "freedom". good luck to all of our pr papers...
bhell, as ling as your passport is valid for at least 6months, you can apply for a work permit. only that the cic mostly base the validity of your work permit on your contract and passport validity. for me, the longer the validity your passport has, the longer your work permit is valid. but for your question and situation, you are good to go...c",)

My agent told me that maybe it can be renewed after i send my application and send the new one after as soon i get the new one. But she wasn't sure about that... If i wait for the renewal here it will be too long waiting as the renewing consul only comes two times a year here.
And also im afraid that they will not accept in embassy if a change it.

If you think there will be no problem if i dont renew it. Then i let it be it..
