Hey guys, it's a happy day! Just got my open permit! Application rec: Feb 13, issued on: May 14, received on: May 22. Just in time for my Bday, tmr! Thx b to God! To all those who r still waiting, just hang in there. Remember hard work never goes un-rewarded! Come on CIC, on to the next one!

i would like to ask is the AOR the email they gonna send to you that they received your application already i mailed my application lastma3 then after two weeks i received an email form cic that they received my application last may 6 and the application number is written on the email. is that the AOR? THANKS

Yes Nicajean26 it is the AOR. We almost have the same timelime August hopefully we will have our OWP

hi guys i sent my application May 19 2013....my bad i didnt sent it via registered mail .. now i am worrying if they receive it or not i called May 27 the agent said THEY ARE OPENING FILES RECEIVE MAY 13TH ) and since i sent mine May 19 ( sunday) and its a long weekend no mail on (monday) so he said i call back again after 10 days ... i am thinking they should receive it May 23 or 24 i am just praying may mail landed to them safely... how long will it take to receive AOR ?? i am just praying that one of this days i will receive an email from them so it wont be stressfull for me thinking about my papers

Thank you kelly0920! The wait is almost over for your. What u can do is call the call centre to inquire about the status of your permit. Most agents will check once three months have passed. @ cutiepinay, it takes on average two weeks to receive AOR via e-mail. I hope you get confirmation soon that your application has been received. Don't worry too much, at least you can rest assured that you have joined the application queue. Good luck guys!

hi cutepinay. i sent my aplication last may 3 by xpresspost so i did track my application. they received it last may 6 according to the tracking number luckily last may 16 i receive an email already AOR they called it i guess that they received my application may 6 same as the tracking details i think its better if you sent it via xpresspost so that you can monitor it but its gonna be ok i think regular mail is longer it will take 5 to 7 days not sure so just wait everythings gonna be ok.

thank you freedomsong i am really hoping that i will get it soon ..so i will stop worrying ..well lessons learned from experience as what they said because my auntie is the one who is sending my mail for me ..when i sent my pr i did it by myself .. being so naive i sent it via regular mail...now i am paranoid ..anyways i will just pray and update you guys if anything good happen to me thanks a bunch

thank you too nicajean26 for replying to my post .. i know a friend too who sent her application may 3rd and she also got her AOR may 15th now i learned from my experience to sent it via registered silly me... i will just pray that my mail is not lost and they received it ..so if its 5-7 days i sent it may 19 and no mail on may 20 ..i will just assume they received it May 27 so hopefully by June 5 or 6 i will get my AOR cross finger...thanks again
