Is it true matagal ibalik yung paspport ng dependent? kasi worry ng iba expire entry nila ng dependent nila to canada...

kahit matagal ibalik ang passport hindi sila mag iisue ng expired na visa. So wait ka lang and relax it will come soon.

Has anyone here encountered that ecas did not update to medical received? it's almost 6 mons already since my dependants did the med exam. However, accdg to call center cic already received it. But why ecas doesnt show med received.

Hi Margaux! Yeah! Ecas is not updated. We both did our medical exams June last year... hoping to receive our PPR/confirmation and visas before our medical expire. Few of my friends told me we cannot enter Canada with expired medical, so Cic will require to redo some of our test if expired. But I guess CIC will rush everything when closer to out expiry already. By the way are you the Lc1 or Lc2? Can't recall. Thanks...

Hi every one,

Just want to ask applicants from Vancouver how long would it take to get a schedule for an interview. I've been reading the previous post. Some get it 5-6 months after DM/PPR, some are just quick. If you could please share your time line between DM/PPR and the schedule of your interview, it will be much appreciated. Just want to get an idea from others because my husband has pending Application for Spousal work permit as well. We are now torn whether we will wait for Spousal work permit (Which they say visa will be released faster) or just wait for His visa as dependant of my PR application. But it will depend on the the interview Schedule of LC1 because LC2 visa will only be released after LC1 interview in Local CIC

my timeline:
May 2012 - Applied LIC OWP/PR
July 2012- OWP approved
Dec 2013 - AIP
May 2014- Addtional Documents Requested
Nov 2014- Medical Request/Medical results received
Jan 23 2015- DM/request of dependant passport.
Jan 29 - LC2 Passport/Pictures submitted through LBC

Any comments about their timeline will be greatly appreciated. God bless us all!!

Almost weekend na naman, wala pa rin...hahay... akala ko pa naman January 2015 may results na...I'm an LC2, wife is the primary applicant. She called cic, sabi nila so far so good daw, they are just doing background check sa wife ko....

@strawberry: almost the same timeline natin...sana nga makuha na natin ung positive result na DM.

Hi, my LC1 is from Vancouver too. Schedule of interview was received two days after the DM letter. Both was received by email and done with the interview this week. Pero, we didn't forward our passports yet. I wanted to quote the COPR number in sending the passports. I was hoping it won't be set aside on file if they knew we are over and done with the interview. Just a thought though and hoping it would work. Hope you receive your interview sched. soon.

CIC application received: October 29, 2012
CIC acknowledgement letter: December 25, 2012
OWP approval: January 23, 2013
Sent Add on requirement for change of marital status (Single to Married):February 24, 2013
Vegreville received add on requirement:February 27, 2013
Received email from CPCV for AIPecember 17, 2013
ECAS APPLICATION RECEIVED TO IN PROCESS: December 16, 2013

what additional documents needed if from single to married?
LC2 Kit: waiting....

Hi friends,

I need your help immediate. I paid some money to broker (Agent) for job in Canada. Money paid on end of August-2014. He explained the procedure of TWP Canada ( First advertisement, 2nd LMO application, 3rd positive or negative LMO, 4th Visa application ). Then he also mentioned this process can take maximum 6 months and said he transferred the money to Canada what he got from me.

From September until now in between this time he said my LMO was applied and in process ( I haven't note down the date he mentioned around oct. 2014).

Starting from October almost 4 months whenever I call him he says no update and LMO in progress. He says he want to speak to the employer in Canada but he not giving any update on this process.

How to check LMO was really applied and in process? Any proof shows application for LMO?

Please help me on this issue!!!
