Let's share timeline, PGWP March applicant

Thanks Vitro,

Even I got 2 emails stating there have been no updates to PGWP application as on Mar 27 & Feb 27
And then yesterday I got one regarding the update but in actual nothing updated.
So, I called them regarding it, then CIC agent checked my file & told me regarding my approval with 2yrs WP(but no actual email yet) but emailing it within a week or 2
Then I told him it should be 3yrs instead then again he went to check my file to know the reason for 2yrs & said yes it should be for 3yrs according to my application, so he will be sending notification to the officer & then they will decide whether I will get for 3yrs or not
I really don't know what will happen even my passport is still active, it will expire in 2023
So, don't know the possible reason for getting it for 2years :

I applied for my PGWP on February 2rd and still waiting for reply. Currently have an job offer but the company is waiting for my work permit.

I have also sent them 186(V) link for verification.

I had 2 questions:-
1) I didnt receive any blank emails from CIC - should i be worried
2) Can i get some sort of letter from CIC which shows that i have applied for my PGWP and its in process

the online work permit processing time is still march 21, and no more ppl get work permit.

I applied work permit extension base LMIA on Feb 5, still no update for me. My company is w8ing for my work permit, and I also really want to join the work. so sad.

Why are they waiting for the permit? You are allowed to work right away as youre on implied status right?

i got a blank updated today for work permit, I was very happy to see there is a updated show in the online application, but when I tried to view whats inside, the application still no changes.

so sad.

Me too, I got a file update few dayz ago, but there is actually no change has been made. I think we should just wait! which is so frustrating.

one of my friend told me, if I saw a updated means "I am kidding u", if I saw a new message, that means "it comes to u ".

when i login to my cic account. it said "approved" but when i went to the application, the status was still "open" . So what does it mean?

Keep a close eye on your cic account... once it's "Approved", you should be expecting to receive a "Message" within 1-2 days, in which you would be able to see the validity of your permit and the address mailed to...

Applied on December 28th. Just called CIC, and an agent tells me my application has been approved but they have not gotten to printing it yet. Apparently, that would take like a month.. Fingers crossed
