What i heard is that they are having problems with the files of month may because as you can see most
Of the applicants here are may amd we have seem people applied june july and they got it already.

That's insane. You should call back and speak to another agent and confirm if your file really was sent to the US. Often, each agent provides different answers, best to double/triple check. Good luck! Many May and June applicants waiting, July/August will breeze through.
My husband and I got approved on Nov10. We are May 15 applicants. We contact MP one week ago. It's very helpful.
I'd like to share something with other May applicants who did not get work permit.
Mp sent me an email:The reason being all work permit application submitted in the month of May and early June are delayed due to an undisclosed technical issue during this period. However as of November 2, the issue has been ratified and CIC is taking steps to ensure that all applications are finalized as quickly as possible.
I hope everyone can get work permit soon.

I am a May 29th applicant. They told me my application required additional processing and it would take up to 4 months more.
There is someone else with the same situation. So, it makes at least three of us.
I decided not to worry about it: clearly, the call centre agents are not only incompetent but also not qualified for the job since they don't care about your emotions when they say such things.
Sending documents to the USA doesn't make any sense to me unless Canada lost its sovereignty and has become a US province.

One before the election, they said they will help me. The MP was not re-elected, they said they can't help me anymore. I contacted the new MP 3 weeks ago (he doesn't have an office yet) he said send me an email, I sent 3 emails!! Nothing.
2 Weeks ago I contacted another MP not far from my area, the MP called me back, I said finally a progress, the next day his assistant just gave me the same information that I already have, she said just wait and call back in a month!!!
I'm exhausted!!

Oh my friend you are in the same boat than I am. I applied on April, 30 and I am still waiting. That is totally insane! I am without insurance and can't visit my family. Actually, I can but I will lose my Implied status and at this moment I am working.
Please keep us posted if you see any progress. I will do the same.
