Good start guys.

Here is a list of Canadian news channels. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_television_channels. Use and email all of them not just CBC (a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) and create a wave of an unprecedented info.

I think we can collectively write an article critiquing the Conservatives and also include what we want the Liberals to do or change. From there we will massively comment on it, Twit on it, and if possible share it on Facebook. Persuade your friends and family to chip in by Twitting and liking. If you have friends who are current international students at your former college/university, please go talk to them and spread the word. We just want our voices to be heard.

Its Game On!

NOTE:

You all have freedom of speech, but during this struggle we should all refrain ourselves from using abusive language, racism, or sexism. We should be smart, eloquent, professional, calm, objectively critical and avoid provocation. And remember to respect the law. Why? Because we don't want any excuses from the Conservatives, Liberals, CIC, or the police.

I have returned back to my home country, Can I still mail my MP explaining my situation..! or if my friend calls on my behalf will that help.?

Thank you

Don't mail or email cuz nobody will reply. I've already tried. You can call from oversee and let your friend bring all your documentations. You'd better find a friend who is a Canadian citizen. I'm guessing that probably will work better.

Hope this helps.

Angela.Bunny,

Thank you for you suggestion! I am waiting for the contact information, that is pending now.

You sure you wanna wait? The contact info will be available in the mid Nov. Here's my suggestion: just google it or ask your friends who have contacted MP before. Try all you can to dig out the contact info. Yes probably the MP won't be there because of the election, but the secretary will help. The secretary of my MP probably even lives in the office. She handed over the file sometimes. She called me in the late evening. I went to see her yesterday after business hour to send a Thank You card after I got PGWP approval. She's still there!

You can find the election results online. The results haven't yet been officially released, but you can easily find them online. Try to contact the MP who's got re-elected. Since they were re-elected, there should be contact info already somewhere online. Also because they were re-elected, they are still MP and they will help.

In summary, do the best you can! This situation is so frustrating. I used to cry everyday for the whole thing. It was totally ruining my life. Hope everybody ends this struggle as soon as possible.

Good luck!

Hi, Jubear

Thank you for all the work you have done for us here. I really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Angela

Angela,

No worries.

By the way the Parliament of Canada website has new MPs already in the database. But some info such as email and address is still pending. However, at least applicants can know the faces and names for now.

All applicants should keep checking the site here http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseOfCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC or Note 4 under members' timelines on page 106 of the forum.

Cheers!
