Only police check. Waiting for med. request as of now. (As sometimes it takes more than a year to finalize the PR and I have some risks on medical)

This is my application overview:

Applied: May 31st
Paid $100: paid in full ($255)
Blank Update: August 12th
PGWP Approval: Pending
Mail Delivery: Pending
Total Processing Time: 89 days


I have found a full time position but my employer says she needs a valid work permit but my study permit expired just last month, along with my SIN number. I told her i am legal to work as on a implied status. Or am i wrong about that?

Yes! You can work until you receive a final decision and additionally you can also request a letter from CIC to assure your employer. To request a letter from CIC...you can refer to page no 51 Deepika's post.

here is my info:

sent the extra $100 on Aug 11 through CSE
got a message on Aug 12 asking to pay the $100
got approved Aug 27

No, it was just an extension due to passport expiry. I don't know why it took so long!

I am a May 7th SOWP applicant, still waiting. They just updated processing times for this week and it remains same- 117 days.

Cic mentions that it was processing on application submitted on April 25 last week....but I haven't got anything yet:

Applied: April 24th
Request for extra $100: August 14th, and paid on the same day
PGWP Approval: Pending
Mail Delivery: Pending
Total Processing Time: 126 days

Paid $100: May 11th through Case Specific Inquiry - got an acknowledgement too
Blank Update: Couple in August
Processing Time: 116ish

Does anyone here know how to get a letter from CIC stating that you are allowed to work under implied status( even if my off campus work visa is expired)?

I applied May 28th so it looks like it will still take at least 1 more month for my visa to be approved...

I am currently working part-time and the company wants to hire me full-time but they think they have to wait until I get my PGWP.

This situation is so stressful because employers are not up-to-date with CIC's implied status rules and we all have to pay rent at the end of the day.

Hey Guys,
For those who submitted their $100 through CSE, did you guys get any email from them saying that the documents you submitted (fees receipt) has been attached to the application.

I am a May 15th applicant and I uploaded the additional $100 receipt thru CSE on Aug 18th. I was not expecting any email acknowledging that they received that receipt. But today I got an email from them saying, "Please note that we have received your supporting documents and we have attached them to your application."

I just want to know if anyone else who paid thru CSE received this kind of email or not.

I recive same email today with ack that they recieve supported doc and its attached to orignal application.
I applied on May 12 and pay addition $100 on Aug 19th.
