I brought all the documents that on the online checklist, including the official letter from school, the official transcript, and I also brought my diploma in case they wanna see it.
Yes, I paid 255 again, the CBSA and CIC are not the same departments, so you have to pay again, but after you successfully got the permit at the border, you can withdraw your online application and get a refund if they haven't yet started process your application.
You don't need to have a U.S. Visa, even you have one, you still don't want to enter the U.S. You need to tell the U.S. Customs that you don't want to enter and they will issue you a flagpole, you will need it at the Canadian immigration in order to let them accept your application.
Yes you need to leave Canada, but technically you are not going to another country either, although when try issue you the flagpole, you are on the U.S. Soil.....

Can anyone you received the PGWP clarify a little thing about the dates on your WP. The length you the issued permit in your case is calculated like:

Date of application + length of education

OR

Date of processing + length of education?

Hey immshunli, I dont see any buttons to cancel your application on the CIC website ? How did you manage to cancel and get the refund? I'm thinking of flagpoling soon.

Call CIC, and they will provide you a email address, you can attach your receipt there, and it will take several weeks to refund you, but only your online application hasn't been processed yet.

It started on the date of issue.

Hopefully you will get yours by this week. It seems like CIC has started to work on more applications and most likely will be done with March applications by end of this week.

Its better you ask the airlines that you are going to use for your air ticket. Every airlines has its own rules. So do your research on that using Google.
